Product Description Food stays fresh in this insulated lunch bag.
Amazon.com Product Description Sack lunches are terrific, but they face at least one major limitation--paper bags can't keep sandwiches cold or soup hot. Enter the JanSport Snack Pack, a compact lunch/snack bag with an insulated interior that helps you preserve the temperature of the contents. Large enough at 175 cubic inches to accommodate a sandwich, a bag of chips, and a soda, the Snack Pack features a single compartment that's fully lined with spill-resistant fabric, along with a Velcro closure to keep your food secure. The Snack Pack is also a breeze to carry thanks to the top web handle. Available in several splashy or subtle patterns, the Snack Pack measures 5.5 by 11.5 by 3.7 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 1 ounce. Nice reusable lunchbag for work December 12, 2008 I had one of these and loved it so I got one for my Mom and one for my Dad for them to use instead of those brown paperbags. Saves them money since they don't have to buy paperbags anymore and they save some trees! Nice "green" way to tote your lunch bag every day. I've had mine for over 3 years and it still is great!
A keeper with some small issues November 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a good, simple pack, but fairly small and with no external pocket. Otherwise is very well constructed, with an effective insulated reflective liner that keeps cold items cold (and likely hot items hot but this aspect has not been tested). It is stylish, but the blue vertical pin stripes of the brown pack were a little brighter and "flamboyant" than one can tell by the picture, and a male child or adolescent might get some ribbing from peers if taking a pack in this color to school.
Perfect for a reasonably sized snack or lunch October 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a good, medium sized lunch container that is nicer than a paper bag and not as bulky as a rectangular lunchbox. It can hold a plastic sandwich container, an apple and another small plastic snack container along with a flat icepack. If you need to carry more, then you may want a larger product but this is perfect for a reasonable snack or lunch.
Easy switch from paper October 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'd been wanting to switch from a paper lunch bag and this has made it so easy. It's about the size of a paper lunch bag - large enough for sandwich, fruit, soup or yogurt container, etc. It fits easily in the fridge at work and keeps things cold. Very pleased!
So far, so good! August 30, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
My girls have used these lunch sacks now for 2 weeks and so far they seem to be holding up really well. We chose these this year because all of the other lunch boxes we have tried just didn't seem to last very long. They sagged from the weight of their lunch or after many uses the inside lining ripped. The outside is the same material as the Jansport backpacks, which last for a very long time. The inside has a lining that helps keep things cold or warm. The top folds down, just as a paper sack would and closes with velcro. There is quite a lot of room inside. So far we have fit an igloo pack to help keep things cold, juice, sandwich, chips and two snacks, along with napkins and a wipe for cleaning hands. They have worked out really well and I have high hopes that we will make it through the school year without any damage. Just as an extra help in keeping the outside clean, I sprayed them with Scotchgard.
