Product Description The stabilizing knife centers the fruits or vegetables over the cutter and filter to increase yield by 30%. This makes it 10 times faster than other juice extractors. The patented dual centered knife system minces fruits and vegetables into minute particles and forces them against the mesh filter for speed and maximum yield. The easy to clean internal pulp container is simple to assemble with the durable stainless steel base and makes 1.5 quarts of juice before needing to be emptied. The 750-watt motor spins the filter basket at 14000 RPM, extracting an 8 ounces glass of juice in 5 seconds.

Perfect juicer for 1 or 2 servings March 11, 2010 Maria This juicer is just as good as Breville's more expensive 800JEXL (I own the 800JEXL). The main difference is the amount of servings you intend to use it for. I bought this compact one for my Mom and she really likes it. I use the 800JEXL for my family of 5 and I love it. It's quick and very easy to clean. My only regret is not getting it sooner. I juice dark green veggies along w/ fruit to sweeten them up and serve it to my 2 and 5 yr. olds every day. I feel great that their getting their veggies in w/out even knowing it!
Awesome juicer! March 8, 2010 H. Mcfarland (Kansas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My wife and I are first time "juicers" and this machine works perfectly. We are now enjoying fresh juice from carrots, apples, celery, pears, you name it, we have drunk the juice! The only downside is the price of the fruit these days, we had to cut down our juicing to 4 days a week, that's all we can afford.
Yum! March 7, 2010 P. Caulfield (Conyers, Ga. United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Breville Compact Juice Fountain is our first home juicer. The juicer works essentially to perfection and seems powerful enough to handle the most stubborn fruits and vegetables. A large chunk of beetroot had to be repositioned once, but the result was terrific.
For newbies (like us), I will note that citrus fruits, other fruits with very tough skins, or fruits with large pits, some preparation is required. However, it's truly amazing to see what fast work the Breville makes of apples, carrots, pears, celery and the most common juicing items.
We've been really pleased and can't wait to do some more daily juicing. Cheers.
Compact Fountain Juicer March 5, 2010 Bonnae Mastroianni (Woodland Hills, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I absolutely love this juicer. It is easy to operate and clean-up is a breeze. I am now juicing everyday and I have never felt better. I am definitely a fan of this Breville appliance and plan to buy more of their appliances in the near future.
One well designed product! March 4, 2010 Richard Orlin (Centreville, VA USA) This is my first juicer but I'm hooked. If Breville designs all their products this well, I'm a convert! Even the electric plug is designed to be easy to pull from the socket. Ingenious!
It came today and I made our first glass of juice as soon as it was unpacked. Easy to use and even easier to clean up. No scrubbing required. A rinse in hot water is all you need and maybe a sponge to release some stubborn pulp, if needed. We think we're really going to enjoy using this. Great job, Breville.
