Cheap construction, show wear easily, but they seem durable so far.. June 25, 2010 M. Ryno 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
First major problem: the black dye in the cloth stains your hands. That's not right, especially since you'll probably be sweating while wearing these.
Second: After just one day of chipping a wood pile with these, the cloth fabric was already showing stringy strands coming from the inside of the glove and the seams seemed to be already stressed. It gives the glove a worn feel, and is comfortable that way, but in the same respect, I fear after only two weeks these may not last a year. I used them a week later to dig some holes and operate a chainsaw and the leather has already started to wear its dye off.
Don't expect a lot of material on these either if you use them. They're heavy, but a picture makes it look like the glove is more than it is.
My advice, just go to a hardware store and try before you buy. I'll be doing that in the future. I bought these because they matched the yellow head/face/ear protection I was already wearing and they were yellow so I'd have a better eye on wear my fingers might be slipping. Don't make a purchase like I did again please.
Rugged, good value for the price June 4, 2010 J. Beebe (Wisconsin, United States) I got these to replace my previous set (by another company) of garden/medium job workgloves. These gloves by Dewalt were cheaper, and definitely an upgrade. When I got them in the mail, I was surprised at how flexible they are -- a lot more so than many of the other leather workgloves I'd tried on at the hardware store. The reinforced leather is supple and they're comfortable to wear. The dye in the leather did bleed a bit onto my hands and stain them the first time I wore them, but I more or less expected that, as it happens commonly with new leather stained such a dark color. The fluorescent yellow is easy to see if you can't remember where you set them down. All in all, they get the job done, and are a great value for the price.

Bright and sturdy May 26, 2010 J. Leofsky (Alabama) A good glove for medium to heavy outdoor tasks; well-made, decent value when < $8; easy to find when you set them down.
Exactly as described May 17, 2010 Matthew A. Maxim Jr. (Michigan) The chain came prompt and in the condition described. I am an avid user of chainsaws, these gloves, althought a little warm on hot days, are great for comfort and flex when using a chainsaw for long periods of time.
