Not durable September 3, 2010 J. M. Long (Upper Marlboro, MD USA) As one would say, you get what you pay for. Although this item is leather, it would not stand up to constant use that you would expect from leather. It is too soft to be durable and in time will lose its shape. If you were looking for something to temporarily protect your iPad, this would do. However I don't think this could be used as a long-term solution.
it was cheap September 3, 2010 JD Ford (Colorado Springs, CO) I read all the reviews and so knew to expect a functional but cheaply constructed case. When I opened the package the case already had a flaw that was noticeable but merely cosmetic. It has, however, fulfilled it's purpose adequately and for the price, which is cheaper than anything you can find at a store by far, it will last long enough to be of value. I do agree that the button snap is odd. The front flap magnetically closes but they have put a redundant button snap to close the front flap. I understand they are trying to keep the iPad from falling out of the case but since you can not close the button snap when you have the case open it doesn't offer consistent protection.
best case for the money September 3, 2010 Alan Mushnick (Voorhees, NJ USA) I tried a couple other cases, such as the Acase one that is $25. This one is better and way cheaper. It protects the ipad from daily bumps, and the angling idea with the stand is perfect for a table or on your lap or while lying down.
If you can get free shipping this case is cheaper than a glass of wine at a restaurant. The materials are not luxurious. But this case is close to perfect and priced to buy without regret. You will use it and like it. At these prices you don't need to obsess. I bought it thinking I would buy a nicer one eventually, but really don't need to.
Great design.
Bulky September 2, 2010 C. Gittens (Brooklyn, NY) It is an ok product for the price but I ended up getting the original iPad case as well because it is sleeker and looks better!
You get what you pay for August 31, 2010 MaryS (Illinois) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I paid approx $12.00 for this cover 2 months ago so it's current price makes it quite a steal, that is if you don't mind replacing it every couple months. Mine is falling apart already, threads unraveling at seams. Not just ratty ugly but trimming or pulling any new threads makes you think that the whole cover will come apart. Is only staying on now to not have my ipad naked. Even at $3ish, I'll pass & keep looking. Too bad, near perfect design & functionality really sabotaged by low end materials. Had the manufacturers used better quality materials this would have been such a winner!
